What One Customer Says About His Honda EU2000iA
My Honda EU2000i has approximately 6000 hours on it in less than three years and still runs like a champ!!! I run regular maintenance by changing the oil about every 30 hours, (they recommend every 20 hours, but I’m a mechanical engineer, I think I know what I’m doing). I’ve changed the spark plug twice, just to maintain my fuel efficiency. Other than that, I’ve only replaced the starting rope due to wear and tear; I use my EU2000i on jobsites at least five days a week, sometimes six, since I purchased it.

I’d highly recommend anyone buy this unit. Don’t do like I did, and tried a cheap generator, thinking I could save some money. Talk about a disappointment; that unit was loud, was not fuel-efficient and every time I turned around, it was shutting off or otherwise breaking down. My Honda portable generator will cost you a little more, but you won’t have to worry about portable power ever again!
